I am a huge Kanye fangirl- I own every album, including one in vinyl, a shirt, those dumb shutter shade glasses, and I'm counting down the days until official dates to his tour with Lady GaGa are released.I still think what he did was despicable. I don't care what you think of Taylor Swift, this was a big moment for a teenage girl just getting started on her singing career (she's actually been a songwriter in Nashville for many years), and for someone to come up there and ruin that was a jerk move on Kanye's part. If you are going to say "Way to go, Kanye!", say it because he apologized to Taylor and her mother, not because he was a dick. We aren't defending Taylor because we think she's a brilliant artist- I happen to like her music in a guilty pleasure way, personally- but because her shining moment was stolen by some egomaniac douchebag. I've known Kanye was like that ever since before I was a fan, and I'll still listen to his music, and I know many other Kanye fans who feel the same way, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with everything he does. In the end, the person who comes out best here was Beyoncé by being her normal classy self and sharing her moment with Taylor. Um, what?
